It has taken a village to bring Joode to life and I'd like you to meet them.

First stop, my Graphic Designer. I found Teesha from Vindi Design studios on the facebook group LMBDW. We have worked together for almost four years and she has been with me for all my weird and wild ideas, including now sock designs! And in turn, I have watched her business and portfolio grow as other clients see how amazing she is.

Berk, my liaison in Turkey. Berk was nothing but amazing, replying to all my questions on the manufacturing process, designs, tags, barcodes, ethical reports, sustainability questions and shipping times. I would employ him as my customer service liaison, I was very impressed.

Ashlie from Beauty is Plane. Ashlie reached out to me this year to create digital images for Feel Better Box. The minute I saw her images I said YES. And since then she's created sock designs, box designs and the most amazing digital images for my website. 

Thanks  so much to Georgia Davies from Cedule who suggested to contact Christine Kankkunen from My Personal Freight Solutions. I have no idea how I was planning to get the socks from Turkey to Australia, but the minute I heard Christine's company specialised in exporting I was sold. And what a seamless process that was. I couldn't be more grateful.

Nyree Slatter Copywriting came to my rescue with her hilarious wordsmith words and puns to give my copy some sparkle. It has been toe-tally terrific working with her and I couldn't have chosen a better wordsmith.

Kate Toon's Digital Masterchef Group is an online business group which I am a part of and adore. This group is my go-to for business questions and advice. They support me and hold my hand when I need it and I genuinely would be lost without them and have made some real friends.

I went on a Business Chicks retreat earlier this year and although half terrified of being away with a lot of people I did not know - the contacts, connections and friendships were life changing. So many of these amazing women are just like you and me, and my goodness they have your back.

Jessica Roberts from The Who Photography & Design. I met Jess at the school gate and since then she has gone on to not only offer stunning photography but also build websites. She has helped bring the socks to life in my images and also helped me with all my website related questions and tweaks (of which there are many!) 

My friends and family who have supported me from day dot. They had to listen to my non-stop chatter about socks. They have been with me, cheering me on from the sidelines from the beginning. You know you have great mates when you haven't even launched the website and they've managed to purchase the socks online already!!
